Jake Paul’s camp hits back at claims Anthony Joshua fight is “fixed” already

Jake Paul’s team has responded to accusations that his upcoming fight against Anthony Joshua is rigged, even before the bout takes place.

Jake Paul’s boxing has generated a lot of discussion lately. After winning fights against YouTubers and some former MMA fighters, many boxing experts have called for him to face more established, professional boxers.

Jake Paul gained notoriety after defeating fighters like Tyron Woodley and Anderson Silva, but this led to accusations that his fights were fixed. Critics claimed his opponents intentionally held back or pretended to be knocked out.

The boxer, who first became known as a YouTuber, has consistently denied the allegations and even sued people over them. Now, as he gets ready to fight Anthony Joshua, a former heavyweight champion, those old claims are being brought up again.

Jake Paul manager hits back at claims of “rigged” fights

Jake’s manager, Nakisa Bidarian, discussed this during an interview on The Ariel Helwani show.

According to Bisarian, Jake Paul’s success is remarkable because even his losses are viewed with suspicion. People questioned the fairness of his split decision loss to Tommy Fury, with some claiming it was pre-determined.

It’s absurd to suggest these fighters are only in it for the money, as if Tommy Fury is the only genuine athlete. The truth is, what’s happening is completely unacceptable – it’s against the law and a serious federal offense.

Nakisa Bidarian strongly denies claims that Jake Paul’s fights are rigged, calling the accusations “absolutely ridiculous” and stating they would be illegal – a federal crime.

The head of Most Valuable Promotions noted that Jake Paul’s fights haven’t really changed much, except for his match with Mike Tyson, where the rounds were made shorter – two minutes instead of the usual three – to give Mike an advantage.

Bidarian firmly denied any such plans for his fight against AJ, stating, “Absolutely not. 100%. Categorically not.”

Jake and Joshua will fight in Miami, Florida, right before Christmas, and the event will be streamed live on Netflix. If Jake wins, it would be a major victory, as Joshua is currently an active professional boxer, unlike some of Jake’s previous opponents who had been out of the sport for a while.
