Contrary to an enigmatic hint given earlier this week, Jake Paul and Logan Paul won’t engage in a boxing match against each other. Instead, they unveiled plans for a reality show that will premiere on the platform Max, as they shared during their live broadcast on Thursday.
For about five minutes, Jake and Logan put on an elaborate display of mock-boxing in one of their luxurious homes. However, their performance was merely an act, as they eventually embraced and shed what appeared to be tears. “Perhaps we’re not so great at acting,” Jake mused. “There seems to be a more significant revelation brewing than our supposed fight.
They revealed a bright neon sign displaying the name of their upcoming reality show titled “Paul American,” set to debut on Max on March 27th. The siblings claim it will offer an exclusive glimpse into different adventures, such as the build-up to Jake’s fight against Mike Tyson.
Logan playfully remarked, “Did you think our show was a source of controversy?” He jokingly added, “I wager it’ll last for just one season.”
Or more casually:
Logan playfully teased, “You thought our show was a bit scandalous? I bet we only get one season to prove ourselves.
Regarding a possible confrontation between Jake and Logan, they hint at the possibility by saying: “We might face off someday.
Outside, everyone gathered to toast with champagne near a pair of vibrant yellow sports cars. The live broadcast momentarily stuttered before eventually halting.
The Paul brothers gained prominence by sharing short videos, six seconds long, on the platform Vine (which no longer exists). Subsequently, they both established themselves independently as online influencers via YouTube. They then tried their hand in television and film for a while. Jake played a role in the Disney Channel series “Bizaardvark,” with Logan appearing as a guest star in an episode.
More recently, they’ve both turned pro in combat sports: Jake, a boxer who squared off against the iconic Mike Tyson, aged 58; Logan, a wrestler who previously held the title of WWE United States Champion. The Paul vs. Tyson bout reportedly garnered 108 million viewers worldwide, as claimed by Netflix, making it the “most-streamed global sporting event in history.” Beyond their fighting careers, both brothers are successful entrepreneurs: Jake leads a men’s grooming line called W, while Logan co-founded Prime Beverages and snack brand Lunchly.
