“It still kills me.” Michelle Pfeiffer, to this day, has not come to terms with the decision by which she is unable to watch the movie with Brad Pitt

Michelle Pfeiffer, despite a thriving career, admitted to making some mistakes she deeply regrets, one of which was unavoidable due to a scheduling conflict. Multiple projects overlapping left her no choice but to abandon one, such as the movie “Thelma & Louise,” where she had been heavily invested, even influencing Ridley Scott to direct it.

Regrettably, delays in the early stages of ‘Thelma & Louise’ meant that the actress had to conflict her involvement with Ridley Scott’s movie with her plans for ‘Love Field’. Despite her reluctance, she chose to let go of ‘Thelma & Louise’, a decision that seemed particularly difficult given its subsequent success. It is worth noting that this film also provided a significant boost to Brad Pitt’s career, as he played one of the key roles.

Michelle Pfeiffer told Variety about how she regrets not being able to play in Thelma & Louise.

Despite multiple attempts, I haven’t managed to watch “Thelma & Louise”. I had to make a choice due to a direct clash in schedules, and it remains painful. Regrettably, not everything can be accomplished at once; sacrifices must sometimes be made.

As a gamer, I can’t help but reflect on my choices, just like Susan Sarandon did when deciding between two iconic roles – “Thelma & Louise” and “Love Field.” While “Thelma & Louis” was indeed a box office hit, choosing “Love Field” wasn’t a misstep at all. In fact, that role earned her an Oscar nomination, which is no minor accomplishment. However, if I were Susan Sarandon, I would still harbor the regret of not having the chance to do both projects and star in “Thelma & Louise,” a role she deeply desired. To this day, she’s never watched the 1991 film, such is her longing for that other opportunity.
