IShowSpeed vows WWE return after getting clobbered in Royal Rumble

IShowSpeed has challenged several WWE superstars for the upcoming Royal Rumble, as he made an appearance in last year’s event.

At the Royal Rumble event on February 1, during a YouTube live stream, the broadcaster was conversing with Stephanie McMahon backstage when an unexpected attack occurred on one of the scheduled Rumble participants.

In that moment, Triple H summoned the streamer as an immediate substitute competitor, which ultimately resulted in Speed joining the fight.

In the Rumble, his participation proved brief, stretching for just 56 seconds until his elimination. However, during this limited stint, Speed managed to leave a lasting impression by securing an elimination and earning himself a viral moment with a spear that has gained wide recognition.

IShowSpeed intends to return to WWE following Royal Rumble appearance

During an interview shared on the WWE’s official Twitter page, the streamer was questioned about his performance given the numerous obstacles that were against him.

As a passionate gamer, I’d put it this way: “Given more playtime, let me assure you, I could pull off feats beyond what most expect from me. When the next Royal Rumble rolls around, I’m challenging every single competitor, be it Roman Reigns, Mark Henry, Rey Mysterio, or Dom. It doesn’t matter who you are, I aim to take down everyone.

When queried about which injury from the Rumble fight’s spear or the RKO he suffered at WrestleMania a year ago caused him more pain, Speed asserted that each injury was equally agonizing for him.

He replied, “You’ve inquired if it hurts or if it hurts a lot. Both are painful. At this point, I can barely walk.

Besides the Royal Rumble, there’s another sports competition Speed will participate in during February – on February 8th, the streamer is set to play against Kai Cenat in a Super Bowl flag football match.
