IShowSpeed outraged after Noah Lyles says he’s “moving on” from racing him

As a gamer with a deep-rooted interest in both gaming and sports, I must say that I was thoroughly intrigued by the spectacle of IShowSpeed facing off against Noah Lyles in that $100K footrace last November. The adrenaline coursing through my veins as I watched the race was akin to the thrill I get from beating my friends at Fortnite or escaping the clutches of a terrifying boss in Dark Souls.

After listening to Noah Lyles, the Olympic sprinter, express his lack of interest in a re-match following their well-publicized race in November 2024, IShowSpeed appeared noticeably upset.

On November 6, 2024, YouTube sensation IShowSpeed competed against Lyles in a high-stakes footrace worth $100K, arranged by the renowned internet personality, MrBeast.

Although Speed managed to keep pace and show off his track skills, Lyles won in a convincing fashion… but despite all the publicity that their match generated, the athlete isn’t interested in running it back.

In a recent conversation, Lyles expressed that he’s advancing towards larger opportunities and more significant accomplishments. He suggested we expedite the process of finding his replacement.

Noah Lyles expresses that he won’t be competing against IShowSpeed anymore, as he intends to focus on greater challenges ahead. Let’s find a replacement competitor for him sooner rather than later.

IShowSpeed furious at Noah Lyle’s “insane” disinterest in rematch

In no time, the video spread like wildfire across social platforms. Not much later, Speed responded to Lyles’ remarks, which occurred during a live stream on December 3, with a strong verbal outburst filled with profanities, evidently upset by the runner’s response.

Speed exclaimed, “Quiet down, please! If he’s silent, that’s a sign he’s afraid. I’ve had enough of this nonsense! Why is he acting fearful?

Who will you compete against in a race, Noah? Who could possibly beat me at it? Incredibly, this is quite unbelievable, chat. I apologize, but it truly seems absurd.

It’s uncertain if Speed and Lyle will fight each other again, but he’s the latest personality testing his skills against professional athletes. YouTube boxer Jake Paul has engaged with various former professional boxers and Olympic fighters, including a recent bout with Mike Tyson in Netflix’s inaugural live-streamed combat sports event.

Speed demonstrates he’s more than capable when it comes to athletic abilities, having bested fellow streamer Adin Ross in a grappling contest overseen by UFC president Dana White, and also surpassing an Australian football athlete in a 10K race with a substantial lead.

Of course, he isn’t infallible, having been downed by the likes of Manny Pacquiao and even Dan Hooker — but it’s clear that he’s hungry to prove his strength despite his losses.
