In the new Daredevil series, ‘Born Again,’ it appears Vanessa Fisk has been killed by Bullseye during an attack at Mayor Fisk’s boxing match. This outcome mirrors what happens to her in the comics after episode 4 of season 2.
This exciting episode focuses on Bullseye, who is determined to get revenge on Vanessa for manipulating him and making him seriously injure Foggy Nelson in the first episode of Season 1 of Born Again.
He chooses a boxing match between Fisk and Matter Horn to make his move, knowing the media will be focused on the Mayor’s charity fight. The match quickly escalates, and Kingpin is hit hard. Simultaneously, Bullseye throws a glass statue at Vanessa, and while Daredevil tries to intervene, a large piece of the statue still strikes and lodges in her head.
Daredevil manages to escape a dangerous situation by launching himself and Bullseye out of a window, leaving Kingpin frantic and calling for medical help. The episode ends with a suspenseful cliffhanger, showing Vanessa seemingly unconscious. However, fans of the comics know this isn’t how her story ends.
