Escape from Duckov is a game heavily inspired by Escape from Tarkov. Like Tarkov, it’s an ‘extraction shooter’ where you try to survive and get out with loot. The main differences are the perspective – Duckov uses an overhead, isometric view – and the fact that it’s designed as a single-player experience. Will the game ever include multiplayer or co-op? Find out more here.
Could Escape from Duckov get a multiplayer mode?
I’ve been having a blast with *Escape from Duckov*! It’s basically a funny take on *Escape from Tarkov*, which everyone seems to love – seriously, 94% of the reviews are positive! But a lot of us players are hoping they add a multiplayer mode, because that’s the one thing that seems to be missing right now.
It’s understandable why players might expect a multiplayer mode, given the game’s name is so similar to Escape from Tarkov. However, Escape from Duckov is designed as a strictly single-player experience. There’s no option to play with or alongside other players – it doesn’t offer cooperative play at all.
It’s currently unclear if Team Soda plans to add more game modes. The developers haven’t said anything about it, even though many fans have asked. A co-op mode seems to be the most popular request, and it might be coming soon. If the developers don’t add it themselves, the game’s community might create a co-op mode through modding, as there’s a lot of discussion and excitement around the idea.
Right now, the game is only playable on computers. If you’re curious about a possible version for consoles like PlayStation or Xbox, we’ve written a dedicated article covering that.
