The third season of Interview with the Vampire, also called The Vampire Lestat, is coming back with a lot of excitement. AMC has announced the premiere date, revealed the opening credits, and even released a new song by the main vampire character.
The third season of Interview with the Vampire will focus on Lestat’s desire to become a rock star. He’ll embark on a large concert tour with his band, but his newfound fame will create trouble both in the human and vampire worlds. The season will show how Lestat’s increasing power and influence lead to funny, yet intense, conflicts during a strange event called the Great Conversion.
AMC has announced that season 3 of Interview with the Vampire will arrive on June 7, 2026, on both AMC and AMC+. Along with the premiere date, they’ve shared a new title sequence that fits the season’s rock and roll vibe. The sequence features Lestat de Lioncourt performing for huge audiences, mixed with intriguing and unusual visuals. You can watch the new sequence below.
I’m completely captivated by the music from the new season! They just released a new song called “All Fall Down,” and it’s incredible. Danieal Hart wrote it, and Sam Reid, who plays Lestat, actually sings it – and he sounds amazing! It’s the second single they’ve shared, following “Long Face” which came out last month. You can find both songs now on all the major streaming platforms, and they even created an official artist profile for the band! I’ve linked where to listen to “All Fall Down” everywhere, so you can check it out too.
Even though Daniel Hart wrote the hit song for him, Lestat still couldn’t resist making some snide remarks. He downplayed Hart’s contribution, even accusing him of inflicting pain with his music, and insisted the only worthwhile part was his own performance. He boasted, “‘All Fall Down’ is thankfully just 68 seconds long – that’s 54 seconds too much Daniel Hart for anyone to endure. I do like the harmonies in the chorus, though – those are mine.”
Hart didn’t pay any attention to Lestat’s comments about his music. He focused instead on sharing the meaning and story behind the song, and hinted that it would make the third season of Interview with the Vampire particularly enjoyable. You can find the composer’s complete statement below.
The song “All Fall Down” is the title track for the new season and a piece written early in the band’s history by the vampire Lestat. Like their song “Long Face,” it draws heavily from the sounds of 70s rock and artists like Bowie and T. Rex, blending elements of both blues and glam rock. “All Fall Down” represents a period when the band was still developing its unique sound, before Lestat began experimenting with different musical identities. At the same time, the song aims to capture the essence of the Lestat we see throughout the season: a character who is more unrestrained, vulnerable, and humorously self-aware than ever before.
Interview with the Vampire season 3, aka The Vampire Lestat, will release on June 7, 2026.
