Big John, a popular figure online, has earned a Guinness World Record for memorizing the most Chinese takeout orders in just 30 seconds, establishing himself as an expert on Chinese food menus.
Big John, also known as John Fisher, is a British creator famous for his energetic personality and amazing ability to pick the best takeout food.
Aside from enthusiastically shouting “BOSH!” he’s most often seen online sharing videos where he reviews Chinese food.
Big John’s most popular videos often show him ordering food politely and with good manners, and he even impressed viewers with his French in a recent post.
The performer known as the “Boshfather” has reached a new high point, officially breaking a Guinness World Record.
Big John smashes Guinness World Record
On June 1st, Big John tried to break the world record for memorizing the most takeaway dishes in 30 seconds. The existing record was 15, which is already a pretty impressive number when you think about ordering enough food for a group!
Big John wasn’t going to settle for anything less than breaking the world record. With incredible speed and focus, he flawlessly recited a stunning 40 items from the menu, completely surprising the officials from Guinness World Records.
After his decisive victory, Big John admitted he was initially nervous. He explained that he’s stumbled over his words before, and worried he might during his acceptance speech, but ultimately felt he delivered it perfectly. ‘I think I nailed it,’ he said, expressing his pride in the outcome.
