This update wraps up a story Banks told through social media. He pretended to be a survivor, leaving his followers to guess what was genuine and what was part of the act. His last posts are connected to a boxing match happening on December 20th.
In the last chapter, Banks stated that all of his friends who were part of the island story had “passed away,” making him the only one left. He then surprised readers by revealing he was rescued in a bizarre twist: Captain America saved him while riding a jet ski.
On December 13th, he posted a video showing his homemade raft was sinking. He also sadly confirmed that his only companion, who hadn’t been harmed by sharks or traps, was likely lost at sea.
Luckily, Captain America was nearby on a jet ski when a shark briefly attacked, and he was able to rescue him.

After getting rescued, I hopped on a flight to Argentina. It was kinda wild – I even met someone on the plane! It felt like a clear sign that the whole island thing was over and I was moving on to whatever was next in the real world.
I was so thrilled to hear this story! Apparently, a flight attendant on one of his flights was really impressed with him and decided to go to his boxing match as his guest. It’s just a really sweet and supportive gesture, and I love hearing about stuff like that!
