An update is on its way for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and it looks like fans who enjoyed the game’s conclusion are in for a treat. A new secret is hidden within a fresh challenge, offering more content to discover.
On October 10th, we’re releasing a big update packed with new features! This includes a New Game+ mode that adds a surprising twist after you finish the game.
To celebrate their 15th anniversary, MachineGames is releasing a free update for their popular new game, giving it some extra polish. This update will be available on all gaming platforms.
The new game mode isn’t the only update – Indiana Jones has a new outfit too! It’s a more practical look for the environment, moving away from his usual leather gear.
His getup from Raiders of the Lost Ark will be available from the Outfits tab.
New voice-overs will also be available in different languages.
Indiana Jones And The Great Circle New Game+ Explained
You can unlock New Game+ from the main menu after finishing the game once. Just choose a save file where you’ve already completed the game, and you’ll see the option to start a New Game+ playthrough.
During this attempt, you can use anything you’ve collected along the way. That includes any Adventure Points you didn’t spend, any medicine you’ve saved, and the local money you’ve earned. Plus, you’ll still have access to the adventure books you’ve already unlocked.
MachineGames suggests increasing the game’s difficulty if you choose to play as a more powerful character, to ensure a challenging and enjoyable experience.
So, about that new ending… you can only unlock it by starting a New Game Plus. And it’s a classic post-credits scene, which is pretty cool. If you haven’t jumped back in since the game first came out, now’s a good time to check out all the new stuff they added, even with any little issues it might have.
We’ll find out the details of this new ending tomorrow, but IGN thinks it might hint at a sequel. The developers are calling it a “brand new ending sequence” and haven’t shared much else.
