Okay, so there’s been a bit of drama with me and The Streamer Awards. I’ve apologized for what happened when I went on stage – basically, I wasn’t happy with who won the Breakout Streamer award and I spoke up about it. It wasn’t my best moment, and I’ve said sorry for how things played out.
The Streamer Awards for 2025 took place on December 6th, honoring the year’s best content creators. Kai Cenat was a big winner after the Mafiathon 3 event, IShowSpeed was named Streamer of the Year, and BurntPeanut won VTuber of the Year, though some in the VTubing community had different opinions about the choice.
India Love, a popular streamer, stirred up some drama at the awards show by going on stage immediately after FaZe Adapt was named breakout streamer of the year.
She announced Adapt as ‘Breakout Streamer of the Year,’ offering congratulations and respect. However, she immediately stated that she believed Rakai deserved the award, and also voiced her support for DDG, regardless of others’ opinions. This caused the audience to boo, and she subsequently left the stage.
India Love received boos from the audience after suggesting that DDG and Rakai were more deserving of the Breakout Streamer of the Year award than FaZe Adapt.

India Love apologizes over Streamer Awards takeover
FaZe’s Kaysan criticized the streamer for being disrespectful, and many people drew comparisons to the well-known incident between Kanye West and Taylor Swift at the VMAs.
Love has apologized for her behavior, calling it selfish. She expressed her gratitude to QT for the invitation and stated there was no justification for her actions, which she described as inappropriate and unnecessary. She explained that she reacted emotionally and shouldn’t have been on stage.
I sincerely apologize to Adapt. I acted selfishly and without thinking when I overshadowed your moment, and there’s no excuse for that. I was only focused on my own feelings and reacted impulsively, and I deeply regret taking away from your experience.
The streamer explained she needs to stop letting herself down, acknowledging she’s still learning and growing in that area.
She had noted that she is “ok” showing off the “ups and downs” of life immediately after the show.
India Love admits she was slightly intoxicated when she went on stage at the Streamer Awards and disrupted the vibe. She’s now committed to giving up alcohol and cigarettes by January 3rd, 2026.
