With Halloween just around the corner, a fresh update for the popular Undying-Renewal mod is now available. This mod is a fantastic remaster that reimagines the classic horror first-person shooter, Clive Barker’s Undying.
This mod enhances the game by fixing errors, refining gameplay and making the campaign fairer. It also brings back content that was originally removed and includes features previously only available on the PlayStation 2. Plus, it supports high-resolution widescreen and features a new launcher that simplifies installing custom-made missions.

The newest version is 1.5
The latest update to *Undying-Renewal*, version 1.5, adds a neat feature: NPCs now chat when they’re not actively involved in the game. This unlocks a lot of previously recorded dialogue that players can finally experience. Along with this, subtitles and multiplayer – which were added in version 1.4 – have been refined, various technical issues have been fixed, and the game’s AI is now more advanced.
The biggest new addition is a new difficulty level called Ultra-Nightmare, made for experienced players who want a real challenge. It makes enemies tougher, reduces your shield’s strength (although you can improve it over time), and restricts you to carrying only two healing items.
As a huge horror fan, I always think of Clive Barker’s Undying around Halloween. It’s such a classic! I was so excited to find a mod that finally makes it run smoothly on my computer, so now I can either revisit it or experience it for the first time without any technical headaches.
