So, Destiny 2’s Praxic Blades are cool because you can swap out cores, kinda like changing the crystal in a Star Wars lightsaber. I’ve been trying to get the Impact Core, which is supposed to make my melee attacks do elemental damage that matches my Super – pretty awesome, right? But seriously, nobody seems to be able to find the thing! It’s like the game is playing hide-and-seek with it.
Is Impact Core even in Destiny 2?
I was really excited when I heard about the Praxic Blade, that new Exotic weapon that looks just like a lightsaber! I, like a lot of other players, immediately wanted to get my hands on one. The description said it should show up for sale at the Tharsis Cantina sometimes, but honestly, nobody seems to be able to find it there. It’s a bit frustrating!
Players currently believe this feature might be tied to how you gain standing with different groups in the game, or that it simply isn’t finished yet. The developers haven’t said anything about it, suggesting it’s not an error. For now, the best thing to do is keep checking the Tharsis Cantina to see if anything changes.
If you’re unfamiliar, now’s a great time to try Destiny 2! All of its expansions (except the newest, Renegades) are currently available to play for free. This free access period runs from December 2nd to December 9th. However, recent reviews on Steam have been mixed, so keep that in mind.
