Mewgenics takes time and effort to master. It will take many playthroughs to fully grasp how everything works together. Things like turn order, breeding strategies, how you arrange furniture, combining elemental powers, and figuring out how enemies behave can seem confusing at first.
It’s important to note this all happens before facing opponents capable of massive damage, who can easily wipe out even the strongest teams. But once you get the hang of it, Mewgenics becomes incredibly rewarding, offering a complex and engaging experience with a lengthy campaign and tons of replay value.
You thought Act 1 was a challenge? Act 3 is going to be much bigger! But if I can navigate it, I’m confident you can too. Let’s explore how to reach Act 3 and discover what awaits us in The Lab.
Getting Through Act 2
Desert

If you’ve finished the first part of the game, you’ll probably know that to get to Act 3, you need to complete both of the last areas in Act 2.
However, this is by no means an easy feat. If you struggled with the bosses and areas of Act 1,
The first area presents a challenge with intense heat that stops you from recovering health after fights, unless you’ve stayed hydrated. Enemies here are tougher and have more complex attacks, so you’ll need to carefully plan your character’s strengths and where you stand in battle.
Crater & The Moon
From the Desert, you can travel to the Bunker’s Crater. This area is full of dangers, including mutated plants and unusual weather, and it all leads to a battle with the Crater Maker.
Next, you’ll travel to the moon, where you’ll encounter strange aliens and face new challenges related to the environment. Your ultimate goal is to confront the mysterious figure known as The Man in the Moon.
Bunker & The Core
Alternatively, you can venture into the Bunker, an old nuclear testing site overrun with dangerous waste and monstrous creatures. This is where you’ll face Johnny, the final boss of the game.
Next, you’ll descend into the core – a place resembling Hell – where you’ll encounter fire, sulfur, and dark magic. Ultimately, you’ll face the Coven, and must stop their ritual by defeating their leader, the Tormentor.
If you’re having trouble with the Coven boss, a good strategy is to destroy all the candles first. This will significantly weaken the Tormentor and make the fight much easier.
The Lab
Once Dr. Beanies is defeated and leaves his lab, you’ll be able to explore it. Be warned – the lab is filled with strange inventions that can cause a variety of harmful effects to you and your team, so proceed with caution!

At the end of the Lab, you’ll face either Stacy or Spewer. After that, Act 3 will lead you to either the Ice Age or The Future, but first you’ll need to fix the time machine to get there.
To progress, you’ll need to get the Heart of the Throbbing King from the Throbbing Domain during Act 1. With that item, you can fix the time machine and move on to Chapter 2 of Act 3.
