In the sequel to “Kingdom Come: Deliverance”, players will find themselves navigating through not one, but two expansive maps. The primary focus is around the imposing stronghold known as Trosky Castle, while the other map centers on the bustling city of Kuttenberg. To provide some context, the initial map is slightly smaller than that of the original game, whereas the city of Kuttenberg offers a larger play area.
In King’s Crown II (KCD2), characters won’t reach the Kuttenberg region until later in the narrative. Once there, they might find themselves captivated by the immense city and picturesque countryside, desiring to explore extensively. However, should players wish to return to Trosky for additional side quests or hunting trips, they’ll need to understand the method for changing regions in KCD2. Naturally, they can always revisit Kuttenberg as well.
How To Travel Between Regions In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
The distance between Trosky and Kuttenberg is approximately 50 miles, which means it’s not a trivial journey and should be approached with caution. In the context of role-play in KCD2, it seems unrealistic to frequently travel between these regions for minor errands.
For individuals planning to travel, they’ll have to locate a driver or guide, who can take Henry to another region. These drivers, or guides, can be identified on the map by a red caravan symbol, but they become accessible only after Henry passes through Kuttenberg for the first time during the main storyline.
Approach the coachman, typically found near the fire, and kindly request a ride from him. This action would advance your game progress as well.
- It costs 200 Groschen to travel between regions, and the price cannot be haggled.
- Coachmen only travel by day, so they will sleep at night, meaning Henry must wait.
- It takes around 4 in-game days, so some time-restricted side quests may fail.
Once they’ve begun their journey, the fresh map will appear, and Henry will materialize behind a cart at his latest destination.
During certain storyline missions or main quests, you’ll find it impossible to travel between different areas, for instance, when Henry receives an order to meet someone early in the morning.
Kuttenberg To Trosky Coachman Location In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
To return to Trosky in KCD2, players should follow the road lying west of Suchdol. This location can be found in the western section of the Kuttenberg region.
Ultimately, they will reach a spot featuring a campsite, which is where the coachman resides. They will find themselves at the southeastern part of the Trosky map, specifically to the east of Schdiar.
Trosky To Kuttenberg Coachman Location In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
In KCD2, to return to Kuttenberg after spending some time in Trosky, players should navigate towards the southeastern part of the map. The coachman can be found near a farm, situated south of the point equidistant between Troskowitz and Apollonia. It is conveniently located just east of the Schdiar fast-travel marker. Players should have the icon for the red caravan on their map already.
Search for a camp by the side of the road, as that’s likely to be the place where Henry was left off during his journey back to the area. The coachman would probably be found there at some point during the day.
