As a seasoned Path of Exile veteran with countless hours spent exploring Wraeclast, I must say that the arrival of Path of Exile 2 early access has sent waves of excitement through the community. And let me tell you, the passive skill tree is a beast – an intimidating yet intriguing labyrinth that demands careful consideration.
Access to Path of Exile 2 has begun early! Many players have been eagerly anticipating this game. One aspect that could initially seem daunting in this title is the extensive passive skill tree. It’s massive! When you start playing, you’ll need to be mindful about where you invest your points. Don’t worry if you make a mistake; you can always reallocate them.
How to respec passive skills in PoE 2
The simplest answer to the question about respect is to “play a game long enough”. Respec is available after completing a few main quests. You will know that you are on a good path after starting Secrets in the Dark mission. Your task is to gather runes to release The Hooded One. Later, you will have to complete The Mysterious Shade, the task which will require you to collect an old ring. Doing so will give you access to the new NPC with the ability to respec. It is quite a long road, as you will have to travel through a big part of Act 1.
Remember that resetting your skills isn’t without cost; you’ll need to spend in-game currency for each skill point adjustment. Furthermore, skills should be linked together to form a coherent path, so it’s likely you might need to rearrange more than one set of skills. It’s wise to carefully consider your decisions before moving forward.
Of course, remember also that if you respec traits, you might not be able to use some of your items. Before doing so, check your equipment and requirements of your gear.
