Though Highguard doesn’t have many Warden characters, those available are quite strong. The Wardens are divided into specializations, and Una focuses mainly on defense.
Una excels at defense with minimal effort. Her abilities function like automated turrets, handling much of the protection while you can concentrate on eliminating enemy attackers.
Let’s take a look at Una’s abilities and how best to use them.
Passive Power – Helping Hand

Let’s start with Una’s Passive ability. Periodically, a forest spirit will appear near you and give you an item. This item is usually a defensive one, such as armor.
This is really helpful when you’re first starting out, letting you concentrate on important things like finding the best equipment upgrades or gathering as much Vesper as you can.
A common mistake players make is rushing to open every chest they find in the first two minutes, wasting valuable time. Instead, prioritize getting guns with at least blue rarity early on, and then utilize the armor provided by your spirit.
These helpful characters can provide you with powerful orange armor right before the last chance to improve your equipment, significantly increasing Una’s defense during the middle of the game.
Tactical Power – Forest Wisps
Now let’s look at Una’s Tactical. This ability lets you deploy wisps – similar to others, but more powerful. You get 3 wisps that will stay put and automatically throw concussion grenades at any enemies they can see.
Position your wisps in places that are difficult for opponents to see, like higher ground. Una especially benefits from bases with lots of vertical space.
With three charges, this is a strong defensive ability. You can use it to block off hallways and protect generators, making it difficult for enemies to get through. Just don’t use all the wisps at once! This ability takes a while to recharge, and the wisps themselves are fragile.
Ultimate Power – Tree Walker
Finally, let’s talk about Una’s third and last spirit. When you use her ultimate ability, she summons a large, powerful creature to fight alongside you. This spirit’s attacks are much more damaging than the others, so your opponents will likely focus on destroying it quickly.

This skill is very useful for protecting your Anchor Stone or a generator. Positioning the Tree Walker next to these objectives effectively blocks the enemy’s access, giving you the breathing room you need to set up a strong defense.
When you’re getting ready for a challenge, try to destroy as many grey barrels as you can. They often contain powerful items called Ultimate chargers, which can help you secure control of key areas much faster.
Una isn’t just good for defense; she can also be very effective when your team is attacking and trying to capture an objective. If you’re not confident in your skills, Una is a great character to add to your team.
