Even though some players have reservations and crossplay isn’t perfect, the new skate game – often called skate 4 by fans – is proving to be very popular, with over ten thousand players on Steam alone. The fact that it’s free to play definitely encourages people to try it out. Currently, players are focused on performing impressive tricks and tackling tough challenges. One particularly difficult trick is the spread eagle, but mastering manual controls is also crucial for becoming skilled at the game. Let’s dive into how to do both.
How to manual in new skate. (Skate 4)
Many tricks in Skate 4 require a manual. While it’s a key skill, not everyone knows how to do it. The good news is it’s actually pretty easy to learn – you can master it without spending hours practicing!

To perform this trick, gain some speed, then gently pull back on the analog stick – just enough so the indicator dot touches or slightly crosses the first line. That’s it! With a little practice, you should be able to do it easily.
Keep in mind this game is still in development, so things are subject to change. But once players get used to how this trick works, it’s unlikely the developers will alter it. Still, anything is possible, so it’s good to be prepared for surprises.
