Arc Raiders is an online shooter where you scavenge for valuable items in a post-apocalyptic world. You’ll explore dangerous areas to collect resources and gear, but you need to successfully escape the map to keep everything you find. The game features both robots and other players as enemies, making escape tricky. Luckily, Raider Hatch Keys can offer a safer way out. This guide will show you how to get these keys and when to use them in Arc Raiders.
In Arc Raiders, each map has multiple ways to escape, but getting out isn’t always easy. You’ll often have to compete with other players to secure a ride, and the escape routes start disappearing as time runs out. That’s when using a Raider hatch key can be a lifesaver.
How Raider hatch keys work in Arc Raiders
In Arc Raiders, Raider hatch keys help you escape matches more safely. You can use these keys to open special emergency escape hatches found on each map. Unlike regular elevators, these hatches don’t make noise or require a long wait, allowing for a quicker, stealthier exit. You can find them on your map marked with a downward arrow and half-circle icon.
How to get Raider hatch keys in Arc Raiders
In Arc Raiders, you can obtain hatch keys through three different methods: finding them as loot, buying them directly, or creating them yourself.
You can loot them at random or scavenge them from downed players, but these keys are pretty rare.
So, I found out you can buy Raider hatch keys from Shani, the Security Trader over in Speranza, but it’s pretty expensive. They cost 9,000 coins each, and you need to be level 12 or higher to even see them for sale. Plus, there’s a catch – you can only buy one key every 24 hours, so you can’t just stock up!
You can create Raider hatch keys once you’ve upgraded your workshop with a utility station. Building this station requires 50 plastic parts and 6 ARC alloy. After that, each key you craft will cost 1 Advanced Electrical Component and 3 Sensor parts.
Best way to use and store your Raider hatch keys
Okay, so Raider hatch keys are pretty expensive, and honestly, I’ve learned it’s best to save them for really important raids. You want to make sure you don’t waste one if things go south and you risk losing all your loot! Plus, I always keep my key in my safe pocket – that way, even if I get taken out, I won’t lose the key itself!
There’s one key that will get your whole team out of the map, but the escape hatches close quickly. Stay together and let each other know when you’re using it.
