For a year now, you’ve been battling Tyranid swarms in Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine 2. Developers at Saber Interactive have kept things exciting by regularly releasing balance and content updates. After the successful launches of patch 8.0, which introduced horde mode, and patch 9.0’s big weapons balance adjustments, we’re now eagerly awaiting patch 10.0. This latest update brings a host of new features, such as operations, enemies, weapons, and most notably, a PvE mode called Stratagems.
Unlike you might expect, these new additions won’t be immediately available upon installation. Instead, you’ll need to put in some effort to earn them. Weapons and armor pieces can only be obtained through “Accolades,” which are… you’re about to find out! Here’s where you can learn more about them and how to get your hands on them.
Getting Accolades in WH40K Space Marine 2 explained
Saber Interactive continues their dedicated work on WH40K Space Marine 2, even though Space Marine 3 has been confirmed. They assure fans that Space Marine 2 won’t be overlooked, and this is evident in the latest anniversary patch 10.0, which offers Warhammer enthusiasts numerous methods to combat the Tyranid threat. To obtain the new destructive weapons, you’ll need Accolades, but their acquisition location remains unspecified.
In the latest update, accolades have been introduced as a new form of reward. Earning them is quite simple – all you need to do is complete matches in the new PvE mode within Stratagem mode. If you’re wondering what to do with your accolades, head over to the revamped shop (previously known as “Data Refinement”). Now it’s called “Refinement and Redemption.” This is also where you can redeem Community Giveaways, so remember this for future reference.

Absolutely, those additional features come at no extra charge for you, just a bit of your effort and plenty of Tyranid bodies accumulating on the ground. You might also want to consider purchasing new DLCs, such as the Black Templars Champion and Imperial Fists Cosmetic packs. Additionally, consider getting Space Marine 2 at a 50% discount right now, enjoy!
