Many Pokémon Pokopia players are noticing the “More Spores for Hoppip” event hasn’t begun in their game. However, it seems the event hasn’t started for everyone yet, and there are a few things players need to do in the game before it will appear.
The Hoppip event actually begins on March 10, 2026, at 5 AM local time, even though some initial reports said it had started earlier. You’ll need to log in after that time to experience the event.
When the event starts, players will get a message letting them know a Pokémon is ready outside the Pokémon Center. This will signal the appearance of Hoppip in town, kicking off the event’s first quest.
However, there are several conditions that must be met before the event can trigger properly.
How to fix the Hoppip event not appearing in Pokopia
If the Hoppip event isn’t showing up, try the following steps:
- Check your system clock – The event begins at 5 AM local time on March 10, 2026
- Rebuild the Pokemon Center – The Pokemon Center must be rebuilt in your main town (Whithered Wasteland, Bleak Beach, Rock Ridges, Sparkling Skylands) for the event to trigger
- Restart the game – Fully close and relaunch the game to force the event notification
- Make sure you are in your main town – The event will not appear if you are on a Cloud Island
- Avoid time travel – Skipping time past the event date can break the event and prevent it from triggering
After everything is set up, players will see a message saying a Pokémon is outside the Pokémon Center – that’s where they’ll find Hoppip waiting to say hello.
What the Hoppip event does
The More Spores for Hoppip event runs from March 9 through March 24, 2026.
Okay, so during this event, I can check out these places called Dream Islands and grab Cotton Spores. Apparently, those Spores are what I need to get Hoppip, Skiploom, and Jumpluff to visit my town – pretty cool!
These special events are a key opportunity to attract new Pokémon to your town in Pokiopia. Players should get everything ready before the events finish to make the most of them.
