How To Find The Uxantis Buried Treasure In GreedFall: The Dying World

Okay, so I’ve been playing GreedFall: The Dying World, and let me tell you, there are chests everywhere! They’re packed with useful stuff and valuable items, but some of them are seriously sneaky. You really have to hunt around to find them all.

If you discover a strange note during your adventure, or need help finding it and figuring out its puzzles, you’ll find all the solutions here. Keep reading to learn everything you need to solve the clues and uncover the hidden treasure in Uxantis.

First Uxantis Buried Treasure Location

As you explore Uxantis and finish quests, you’ll come across a tavern called The Fishing Mermaid. Look for a mysterious note with a riddle on a table by the bar – it will lead you to hidden treasure.

The note says the treasure is hidden where only the sound of waves can be heard, filled with the cries of seagulls and the crashing of the ocean. It mentions traveling across the sky using a wooden structure with ropes – likely a ship or sailing vessel.

Head to the tree stump located right across from the rope bridge in the Uxantis Countryside. If you look at your map and mark the question mark slightly south of the campfire near the rope bridge, you’ll discover a place to dig.

Make sure you pick up, purchase, or craft shovels to dig for any buried treasure.

Open the chest to find another riddle, along with some useful items: 36 coins, a bottle of white liquor, softwood, and fossilized mother-of-pearl.

Second Uxantis Buried Treasure Location

The second clue tells you to search near where a noble from another land rests – specifically, below what looks like a pirate hideout, a secret cave. To find it, go to the Foreigner’s Quarters and walk past the water wheel, crossing the small bridge onto Foreigner’s Road.

Okay, so I found this cave hidden under one of the walkways leading up to a building. There was a dig spot inside, and I got a chest! It had another riddle to solve, but also some useful stuff: 46 coins, a bottle of White Liquor, some Softwood, and a really cool Fossilized Mother-Of-Pearl.

Third Uxantis Buried Treasure Location

The third riddle leads you to a peaceful location in the countryside, specifically near a sandstone arch – the Uxantis Countryside – where a fallen friend is said to rest.

Okay, so I’m looking for a really simple grave – it’s marked with just a stick and a hat. It’s over near that archway in the sandstone, in a shady spot. If I’m walking towards the lighthouse, it’ll be on my right, just off the path.

Inside this chest you’ll find 139 coins, White Liquor, Softwood, Fossilized Mother-Of-Pearl, and a final riddle. Solving this riddle will lead you to the real treasure buried on the beach.

Fourth Uxantis Buried Treasure Location

The fourth riddle directs you to the “shores where playful sea bream swim.” Specifically, you need to go just north of the wild lands, near a broken rock by the shore. This location is the Peninsula, a sandy area you previously visited during the Father and Son quest, near where you met the Naut’s son.

At the far end of this little beach, you’ll find the last place to dig. Use your shovel to unearth the treasure chest and claim your prize! Inside, you’ll discover a Mourning Rapier, a powerful legendary weapon. It deals 17 Physical Damage, has a 20% chance to critically hit, a 3% chance to weaken enemies, and ignores 1.5 Shields.
