Upon entering the expansive universe of Avowed, you’ll quickly discover its immersive medieval atmosphere infused with hints of magic and animancy. Instead of a wand, you’ll find yourself wielding various weapons in the game, primarily swords or pistols that necessitate reloading after each shot.
In the medieval period, a mechanism called the bounty system was widely used, and you can observe this system in the game Avowed too. This system offers an excellent method to accumulate some currency as you refine your combat abilities.
Where To Find Bounties
Once you’ve navigated through the Northreach Fort region in Avowed, a tutorial zone primarily, you’ll transition into the main map where each region lies within the Living Lands. Each of these main areas will feature a significant city, such as Paradis in Dawnshore. To discover the rewards of that area, you’ll need to explore and visit these cities.
As you delve into these areas, you’ll notice a location marked with several exclamation points on your mini-map. This is most likely the bounty board, where you can discover up to five bounties for each region. You can easily select these bounties, and they will appear in your quest log.
On the map, the targeted loots remain present, regardless of whether or not you claim them in your interface. Therefore, there’s a chance you may encounter these enemies at random.
How To Find Bounty Targets
As a fan, when I’ve taken on a bounty from the board, I navigate my map to scout for the mark’s location. I easily spot the designated area with a unique blue icon enclosed in a circle. Upon hovering over each target, the prospective bounty amount appears. The majority of these can be found in plain sight across the surface.
Sometimes, the targets may be concealed within caves or require a certain route to reach them. Locating each bounty is usually quite straightforward, but it often involves a bit of exploration. Once you’ve found the target, you’ll encounter several enemies simultaneously, with the main boss displaying their HP at the top.
When engaging in battles against these rewards, it would be very wise to focus on eliminating the healers initially, as they significantly reduce the impact of your damage on the main target.
Avowed Bounty Rewards
In the game Avowed, bounties may appear unimportant since they won’t disturb you unless you venture to specific spots. However, it’s strongly advised not to dismiss them. Even in the initial region, you’ll earn 500 currency for defeating each target, a sum that escalates as you advance and explore additional regions.
As a gamer, I always make sure to scour the loot on every defeated bounty after a battle. Each vanquished foe often rewards me with unique weapons, armor, clothing, or accessories. Sometimes, they even bestow multiple items, so it’s crucial to check them all.
Once you’ve finished all tasks in a particular region, you can also approach the individual found near the noticeboard of bounties to collect another exclusive prize as your bonus.
