To succeed in EA Sports FC 26, scoring goals is essential. In Ultimate Team, you’ll need a range of skills to overcome opponents. We suggest mixing up your shots and practicing low, driven shots to get past the goalkeeper.
How to do low driven shots in FC 26
To hit a low, driven shot, quickly press the B or Circle button twice in a row. First, press it to power up your shot, and then immediately press it again. It takes practice to get the timing right! Don’t forget to aim where you want the ball to go.
Unlike the low finesse shot – performed by quickly pressing RB/R1 twice with the B/Circle button – and the low power shot – done by holding down LB and RB/L1 and R1 while quickly pressing B/Circle twice – this technique is executed differently.

Hitting a low, driven shot is great for quickly scoring in the lower corners of the goal. If you’re approaching from the side, finesse shots with spin are more effective. Power shots are best when you have enough time to wind up and take them.
Because these shots require some practice, we suggest trying them first in Moments or easier Squad Battles.
To successfully score these types of shots, you’ll need players who are good at shooting. However, creating the opportunity also requires speed – a player who can beat defenders and get a clear shot on goal. Players with the ‘Low Driven Shot’ playstyle, like Milito or Haaland, can further improve your chances of scoring.
As a player, I remember last year having all sorts of popular strategies, but those low, driven shots were *way* too powerful – almost game-breaking! I’m guessing we’ll see a lot of people using them again this year, since they were so effective.
