Just so you know, the Golden Dandelion isn’t available in the game right now. It’s planned to be added in a future update, and should be fully released with the first major update in 2026.
What is a Golden Dandelion?
The Golden Dandelion is a flower you can make in Minecraft. It can prevent baby animals and creatures from growing up, or restart their growth if you’ve already given them a flower.
You can give this item to a creature to stop it from getting older, but it doesn’t affect babies – like baby monsters, tadpoles, or baby villagers.
How to craft
To craft a Golden Dandelion, you need the following ingredients:
- 1 Dandelion: Found in most biomes on the ground
- 8 Gold Nuggets: Smelt Golden tools or a Gold ingot (produces 9 nuggets)
Once you’ve gathered the necessary materials, go to a crafting table and arrange them as shown in the recipe. This will create a Golden Dandelion.

If you’re having trouble finding a Golden Dandelion, you can also buy one from Wandering Traders. They sometimes sell a single Golden Dandelion for 2 Emeralds.
