The “Love for a Hero” quest is now available in Monster Hunter Wilds as of the February 18th update, and it offers a unique and engaging experience for players.

This side quest has some really great rewards, but it’s designed for players who have already reached the end of the game. If you’re still in the middle of the game, you won’t be able to start it. The good news is the quest is always available, so you can complete it whenever you’re ready.

How to start Love for a Hero in Monster Hunter Wilds

To start this new side quest, you first need to finish “Ghosts Pay No Heed to Tomorrow.” That quest is quite challenging, requiring you to reach HR 100. If you’re new to the game, getting to HR 100 will take a significant amount of time.

Okay, so after I finally took down Gogmazios and finished the ‘Ghosts Pay No Heed to Tomorrow’ quest, I was able to start ‘Love for a Hero’! All I had to do was find Nadia – she’s hanging out in the camp up at Iceshard Cliffs. It was pretty straightforward once I knew where to look.

How to complete Love for a Hero quest in Monster Hunter Wilds

After talking to Nadia, you’ll need to finish the quest called Frenzy Obscured. This quest requires defeating specific monsters, and you’ll often encounter them in groups. It’s a good idea to team up with other Hunters to make it easier.

To defeat the monsters, focus on separating them from the group first. This will help you aim and attack their specific body parts more effectively. After that, find Nadia at the Iceshard Cliffs, and she’ll ask you to meet her at Area 15.

After talking to Nadia at the base camp in Iceshard Cliffs, you’ll need to finish the quest called Corruption’s Culmination. This requires defeating a 9-star Tempered Gore Magala. Unlike Frenzy Obscured, you must complete this quest solo – you can’t use SOS Flares and will only have Nadia and your Palico to help.

Once you’ve finished the quest, head back to the Iceshard Cliffs base camp and talk to Mina. That will finish the ‘Love for a Hero’ quest.

How to get the Sororal Alpha Armor in Monster Hunter Wilds

Finish the “Love for a Hero” quest to earn five Commission Tickets, five Monster Chillis, and 30 Well-done Steaks. You’ll also receive 1000 Guild Points and unlock the Sororal Alpha Armor. After unlocking, you can craft and use all pieces of the armor.
