How to complete Disney Dreamlight Valley Haunted Well puzzle

The Halloween event is now live in Disney Dreamlight Valley, and it includes a new, challenging puzzle involving a Haunted Well.

Let’s be real, no DDV experience is complete without a good puzzle or two. A huge part of the game is figuring out what goes into every recipe, and you’re constantly unraveling mysteries with the different characters you meet. Plus, the Duties? Forget about hand-holding – their names are basically the *only* clues you get! It’s all about figuring things out for yourself, which I totally love.

So, on top of all the Trick or Treat stuff, there’s this new challenge called the Haunted Well. It’s a puzzle, and if you beat it, you get a cool furniture piece as a reward. Honestly, it’s pretty tough, but I’ve got the solution right here, so you’re in luck!

Haunted Well puzzle solution

Okay, so I finally figured out the Haunted Well puzzle! You actually need to find a red chest, and we discovered it’s located northeast of the Plaza biome. It wasn’t easy, but we got there!

Once you locate the chest, open it and take the purple memory orb. This will give you a clue, telling you to go to the Forest of Valor and find the Haunted Well.

We found the Well on the north-east side of the biome again, just under the Frosted Heights.

To solve this, you need to determine the value of each Green, Red, and Purple Candy. While it involves some calculations, we’ve already done the work for you: Green Candy is worth 15, Red Candy is worth 10, and Purple Candy is worth 5.

Okay, so to get the furniture, I need to grab a bunch of Candy – it’s hidden in buckets all over the Plaza. Once I’ve collected them all, I just toss them into the Well, and the furniture will be mine! Pretty simple, right?
