How many seasons will Invincible have? Here’s how long the Prime Video TV series might be

As a die-hard fan, I can’t contain my excitement as Invincible returns on Prime Video with season 3! This animated superhero series has truly taken the platform by storm and left viewers craving more. I find myself constantly wondering about the future of our beloved characters – will we get to witness their entire story as it unfolds in the comic books, or is there a chance they might wrap things up earlier? Or perhaps there’s even more in store for us in the form of extended storylines. The suspense is killing me!

As for the number of seasons Invincible will encompass, no details have been disclosed as of now. However, it’s been confirmed that season 3 is on its way and there will indeed be a season 4. But what does the creative team behind the scenes have in store? Are they planning for more seasons or perhaps some other surprises to share with us?

During a chat with Collider, one of the creators of the series, Robert Kirkman, shared that they’ve got a rough plan for around eight seasons for Invincible. However, he noted that the number could potentially be adjusted to seven or even up to ten seasons.

Simon and I have planned a general structure for our project, which resembles a comic book series. We’ll take some creative liberties along the way, and there will be approximately eight main segments or “seasons.” However, it may vary, potentially ending up as seven or even ten seasons depending on how things develop.

Back in the year 2023, I vividly remember sharing similar thoughts during an engaging chat with Polygon. During that conversation, I hinted at a potential length for the series, suggesting it might stretch over seven to eight seasons.

It appears that a span of seven to eight seasons might suffice, but we could possibly speed through certain aspects and delve deeper into others. If luck favors us with an extended run, I believe it would provide ample content to encompass the entire comic.

If things continue positively and the audience for “Invincible” remains strong, it seems likely that the series will span approximately eight seasons, a number the creators have long planned for.
