HoYoverse, the worldwide leader in interactive entertainment, has announced that the latest update for Honkai: Star Rail, titled “Back to Earth in Evernight,” will be available starting September 24. In this update, Version 3.6, players, known as Trailblazers, will encounter familiar characters from the Astral Express in fresh, new forms. Specifically, Evernight and Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae have joined the playable cast. Of particular interest, Trailblazers who have reached Level 3 or higher can acquire Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae for free within a limited timeframe. Accompanying these highly anticipated additions, Version 3.6 offers an array of new content, such as the challenging “Anomaly Arbitration” and the lively multiplayer event, “Colorful Mayhem,” which is filled with seasonal activities.
Moving forward, Amphoreus finds itself at a crucial juncture, its future direction still unclear. As the narrative progresses, Miss Evernight unveils her concept called “Era Nova”, a divergent route from the conventional belief in salvation, which she is resolute to follow in an attempt to save the world. Simultaneously, Dan Heng plans to revisit Amphoreus, ready to take on any peril to be reunited with the Express Crew once more.
This update introduces two new characters you can play: First is Evernight, a 5-star Ice character who steps out of the shadows to join your team as part of the Path of Remembrance. As her name suggests, she carries a forgotten past, and her goal is to protect her future. Evernight works best when fighting alongside memosprites, and when in your team, she boosts their Critical Damage. The more characters from the Path of Remembrance there are in your team, the greater this boost. When Evernight summons her memosprite “Evey,” she gains a special ability called “Memoria.” As she collects more Memoria, Evey’s damage increases. Once Evey reaches a certain level, it will immediately attack all enemies. Evernight’s ultimate skill not only attacks all enemies but also puts both Evernight and Evey into an enhanced state called “Darkest Riddle.” In this state, their damage is increased, and using a skill on Evernight grants her additional Memoria, further boosting Evey’s damage.
In the exciting update of version 3.6, the much-awaited playable character, Dan Heng – Permanent Earth Shaper, is now officially part of the game. Empowered by the Azure Dragon’s power, Imbibitor Lunae, Dan Heng progresses further on his journey of permanence and unveils his unique ability as Permanent Earth Shaper. This newfound strength enables him to provide wider defensive support to his team.
During battles, Dan Heng – Permanent Earth Shaper can designate a teammate as his Bondmate and summon a Souldragon for them, while simultaneously bestowing a stackable shield on all allies. When the Souldragon acts, it removes one debuff from all allies and grants an additional shield. Furthermore, when Dan Heng – Permanent Earth Shaper uses his ultimate move, he inflicts damage on all enemies and fortifies the entire team with shields. Simultaneously, the Souldragon is strengthened. When it attacks, it retaliates against all enemies and deals damage based on the Bondmate’s combat skills. Additionally, from the start of Dan Heng – Permanent Earth Shaper’s appearance until the end of version 4.0, players with Trailblaze level 3 or above who log in can acquire the 5-star character, Dan Heng – Permanent Earth Shaper, for free.
In this update, a fresh, challenging game mode called “Anomaly Arbitration” starts. It is divided into four distinct stages – three trial stages and one final stage. During the trial stages, players known as Trailblazers must split into three different teams to tackle each trial separately. Successful completion of these trials will lead to the final stage. By overcoming all stages, Trailblazers can acquire the new item “Interference Key” along with other rewarding items. Furthermore, several events are set to roll out progressively, such as the dromas-raising event “Nice Weather for Dromases” and the event “Colorful Mayhem.” Lastly, this update includes the Main Story Replay feature, allowing Trailblazers to revisit completed missions, trailblaze continuances, and companion missions at their leisure, with the option to select specific story segments or cutscenes for a repeat viewing.
Here it goes: Honkai: Star Rail can now be played on PC, iOS, Android, Epic Games Store, and PlayStation 5, with a combined total of over 150 million downloads across all these platforms.
