It appears that a recent leak for the game Honkai: Star Rail has disclosed comprehensive details about the upcoming five-star character, Mydei. Based on the information, it seems Mydei will be joining the game’s roster shortly. Already, Honkai: Star Rail has shared Mydei’s formal introduction and artwork, which is a common practice by HoYoverse when introducing new characters to the game.

In addition to Mydei, another five-star character has been unveiled for Honkai: Star Rail 3.1. This newcomer goes by the name Tribbie and is shrouded in mystery, having multiple distinct personalities. It’s worth noting that while Mydei is set to tread the Path of Destruction, this role typically belongs to powerful DPS characters who also exhibit good survivability.

Even though Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.0 hasn’t been released yet, fresh leaks have shed light on more details about the upcoming five-star character, Mydei, in Update 3.1. Based on a post from the Honkai: Star Rail Leaks subreddit, Mydei’s Skill will deplete his HP to inflict Imaginary damage on multiple targets, scaling with his maximum HP. Similarly, Mydei’s Ultimate skill restores some of his HP and amplifies the damage he deals to a group of enemies. Interestingly, Mydei’s abilities seem to be tied to his Blood for Blood Talent, which triggers the Vendetta state when activated. In this state, Mydei gains immunity to Crowd Control debuffs and experiences a significant boost in his maximum HP.

Honkai: Star Rail: Mydei Kit Explained

Based on earlier rumors, it seems Mydei might outdo Feixiao, known for being an exceptional DPS character in Honkai: Star Rail, in terms of damage output. The source also hinted at a transformation ability in Mydei’s skillset, which could potentially boost his overall damaging capabilities. Contrary to speculation, Mydei’s kit doesn’t appear to be reliant on other Imaginary characters for its effectiveness, as suggested by beta data.

Currently, there isn’t much officially disclosed about Mydei, apart from what’s given in his introduction for Honkai: Star Rail. However, this unveiling introduced us to a character, referred to as Mydemius, who is the prince of the city of Kremnos veiled by mist. He is a formidable fighter, destined to face multiple deaths, in an attempt to surpass his mortal limitations and overthrow the gods, ultimately reclaiming his homeland.

As a diehard fan, I’m excitedly speculating about Mydei’s debut! His announcement timing hints at a release during the second phase of Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.1. Given HoYoverse’s regular update pattern, if the 3.0 banners stick to their usual three-week run, we could be seeing him in late March!
