New information from Honkai: Star Rail suggests some major new characters are coming with the next world update, including a refreshed version of a fan-favorite. As the game approaches the end of its current story arc, HoYoverse has been consistently releasing exciting characters. Version 3.6 introduced new versions of existing characters – Evernight March 7th and Permansor Terrae Dan Heng. Now, early details are starting to emerge about Honkai: Star Rail‘s next major content drop.
Although HoYoverse hasn’t officially announced the next world in *Star Rail*, clues suggest the Astral Express is headed to Edo Star. This Japanese-inspired world has been hinted at in the game’s story, and recent leaks have excited players with promises of a new Path called Elation, and confirmation that Edo Star is the home planet of the character Sparkle. Players are now starting to learn about the major characters who will appear in this new world.
A recent leak from HoYoverse insider Anon Leaks suggests which characters will be featured prominently in the upcoming Edo Star world of *Honkai: Star Rail*. The leak indicates that Yae Sakura, who is rumored to be an Ice-type character with a new Elation Path, will be one of Edo Star’s strongest characters. Additionally, Himeko is expected to receive a new version when the next world launches, and will also be a key character in that world. The new world is currently predicted to release around early 2026.
Honkai: Star Rail Teases New Edo Star Characters
Okay, so the leaks for the next world in Honkai: Star Rail, Edo Star, are getting really exciting! Apparently, two of the biggest new characters are going to be ‘push’ characters – meaning they’ll be super important in the story. It sounds like they’re doing what they did with the last world and giving the Trailblazer a new version, this one an ‘Elation’ unit, kinda like how Amphoreus changed things up. And get this – because Edo Star is Sparkle’s home planet, she’s also getting a new version that follows the Elation Path instead of her usual Harmony style! I’m so hyped to see how these new characters play and fit into the story!
Okay, so the next big update for *Honkai: Star Rail* is almost here, and we’re getting a new world to explore! HoYoverse has already given us a heads-up about the new characters, and it looks like Cyrene is going to be the only five-star in Version 3.7 this November. She’s the final piece of the Amphoreus crew to become playable, and from what I’ve heard, she’s going to be a support character, mostly helping out the Chrysos Heirs. Honestly, it sounds like there’s a ton of cool stuff coming to *Honkai: Star Rail* really soon, and I can’t wait!
