holo Indie has announced a new Hololive-inspired game called HoloDungeon: Koyori vs Hollow Live in Honsha Tower, a roguelike RPG available on Steam. While a specific release date hasn’t been announced yet, the game will initially launch as an Early Access title on January 22. More information can be found in the Japanese press release from Velux Studio.
The game features Hakui Koyori, a popular Vtuber from Hololive, as the main character. She’ll be venturing through ever-changing HoloDungeons filled with Hollows – challenging enemies based on smaller versions of other Hololive talents. As a roguelike game, it includes a special Koyorinium Gauge. Players can use this gauge to add upgrades to their armor and weapons, or to create powerful new healing items.
Below you’ll find screenshots and details about HoloDungeon. Although the Steam store page features English descriptions and logos, the game will initially only be available in Japanese.
Hakui Koyori was incredibly busy preparing for her upcoming live performance, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness. Right when everything seemed ready, the world unexpectedly changed, becoming a strange and puzzling place called the “HoloDungeon”.

■HoloDungeon
HoloDungeon is a constantly changing dungeon, similar to a hologram. It automatically creates new levels each time you play, so you’ll never experience the same adventure twice, guaranteeing a unique and thrilling experience every time.
Falling into the dungeon means you’ll lose items and experience you’ve collected, but the lessons you learn will be valuable for future adventures.
You won’t lose your Dungeon Experience Points if you fail in a dungeon, and the Decorate Recipes you buy with those points are crucial for completing it.
■Hollow
The Hollows are similar to the talents of Hololive, but they are all created by a single being. Each Hollow has different skills and personalities, and they’ll all play a role in Koyori’s story. Understanding what makes each Hollow unique is key to developing a successful strategy.
■Items and dungeon traps
Items and traps found while exploring HoloDungeon are packed with Hololive elements!
Things that initially seem difficult or even dangerous can actually be helpful in a tight spot, if you use them correctly. And, naturally, the opposite is also true – something that seems simple can become a problem if misused.
■Decorate System
You can use resources gathered while exploring dungeons, called “Koyorinium,” to create new medicines or improve your weapons and armor through a process called “Decorate.” This significantly boosts their effectiveness.
These effects are incredibly strong and can be a game-changer, helping you overcome even the most challenging obstacles.
Even items that have negative effects can be valuable for strategic dungeon exploration, adding a new layer of challenge and planning.
