In response to a fan’s query regarding Hollow Knight: Silksong’s development, Team Cherry’s marketing and publishing head, Matthew Griffin, confirmed that the game is indeed genuine, ongoing, and scheduled for release. However, he did not disclose any additional information.
There has been little information about its progress since its launch date, which was pushed back from the initial 2023 schedule. Now, nearly two years have passed without any substantial updates being shared.
Although the game’s inventor suggested a potential Switch 2 edition recently, as Nintendo unveiled their forthcoming handheld device last week. It seems likely that we might see this game during Nintendo’s Direct presentation on April 2, which focuses on the Switch 2.
The game titled “Hollow Knight: Silksong” is all set for a multi-platform launch, which includes PC, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox. Additionally, it will be available on Xbox Game Pass the very same day of its release.
