At the September State of Play, Sony announced a few games coming to PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers before the end of the year. Along with Tekken 3 (already out) and Tomb Raider Anniversary (coming November 18th), Soulcalibur III was revealed as one of the titles. We’ve now officially confirmed that this Bandai Namco fighting game will be released digitally this year.
The Japanese publisher hasn’t announced a specific release date for its game on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 yet, but they’ve confirmed on X (formerly Twitter) that it will be released later this year. It will also be available to PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers.
Bandai Namco also confirmed the game will be sold on its own, but the price hasn’t been revealed yet.
We expect to find out which games will be available for PlayStation Plus Essential members in November around October 29th. As of now, Sony hasn’t announced what games they’ve chosen for this month’s selection.
