Highlander Is A Cult Classic Fantasy Francise

I first encountered this story through the movie’s script, written by Widen, Bellwood, and Ferguson. It blew my mind! It’s about Connor MacLeod, played by Christopher Lambert, and he’s basically immortal. He travels the world fighting other immortals – and get this, the only way to really kill them is to chop off their head! But the coolest part? When he wins a fight, he absorbs the power of the guy he defeated. It’s an awesome concept!

Despite not being well-received by critics or a box office hit when it first came out, the movie Highlander launched a very successful franchise. It now includes five theatrical films, one animated movie, and three TV series, along with web series, books, and comics – and there’s more on the way.

The screenplay for the original Highlander movie will be available in comic book stores on November 17th, courtesy of Titan Comics.
