The same shape repeats itself in Vecna’s mindscape
TikTok users watching Stranger Things have spotted a recurring shape in Vecna’s mindscape while Holly Wheeler is in the woods. Many believe this shape resembles the cave used in the stage show Henry Creel performed.
In Episode 3, ‘The Turnbow Trap,’ Holly uses a spyglass with a strangely shaped lens—it’s not a typical round telescope lens. Later, when she goes with Max to her secret hiding place—a cave—the large opening on the other side of the cave is the same unusual shape as the lens inside the spyglass.
The First Shadow tells the story of Creel’s childhood and how he discovered another dimension. This happened while he was exploring a cave in Nevada, coinciding with a scientist’s risky experiments with new technology.
Both of them were transported to a strange place called Dimension X, also known as the Upside Down. While there, Henry was influenced by the Mind Flayer, and when he came back, he had developed telekinetic abilities, a change in his blood type, and a significantly more aggressive attitude. He also lost his spyglass during the experience.
Viewers have noticed that a recurring pattern and Max’s house, built on a hill, seem to allude to a past event. This suggests the show might reveal what happened to Vecna (formerly Henry) after his encounter with the Mind Flayer.
