PowerWash Simulator 2 is mostly about cleaning, but it also has a few secrets to discover. Early in the game, you can find a hidden gnome and unlock the “Gnome From Home” achievement. Finding it also gives you peace of mind, knowing you’ve removed a strange, red-hatted observer from your base. Here’s how to locate the hidden gnome in your home area of PowerWash Simulator 2.
Where to find the hidden gnome in the home base in PowerWash Simulator 2
You’ll start in the home base in PowerWash Simulator 2, and it acts as your central hub. From here, you’ll accept jobs and decorate with furniture you buy. You can even find the hidden gnome right away when you begin playing!
You might be tempted to search everywhere for the hidden gnome, even outside, but you’ll likely be surprised to find it’s actually quite big and hiding in plain sight. In fact, it’s located right where you’ll be working on tasks.
To find the hidden gnome, go to the room upstairs with the big job map. Stand facing the doorway that leads downstairs, and you’ll find the gnome hiding right behind it.

Go to the door and close it – you’ll find a gnome with a red hat relaxing in the back! It’s a bit strange, but picking him up will earn you the “Gnome From Home” trophy or achievement, bringing you closer to finishing all of them.
Throughout your time with PowerWash Simulator 2, there are lots of other achievements and trophies to unlock. It’s worth checking the list and completing challenges as you go, to save time and avoid having to redo jobs because you missed something.
