After a long wait, Nintendo has officially unveiled the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2. Excitingly, they have also shared that enthusiasts will be given an early taste of the new device before its release through global “Experience events”, which are set to commence in April.
Starting from April 4th, I’m thrilled to be part of an exciting journey that begins in both New York City and Paris! From there, the action will spread to cities like Los Angeles, Dallas, Toronto, London, Milan, Berlin, Madrid, Amsterdam, Melbourne, Tokyo, Seoul, Hong Kong, and Taipei. It’s going to be a global adventure!
To take part in this event, you’ll need to have a Nintendo Account. The registration period for tickets starts on January 17 at noon Pacific Time (or 3 PM Eastern Time). Since there seems to be high interest, the tickets will be distributed through a lottery system where participants are randomly chosen.
In 2025, we can expect the release of the next-generation Nintendo Switch (version 2). On April 2, a special Nintendo Direct event focusing on this system will take place, during which Nintendo is anticipated to reveal a wealth of additional details regarding the console.
The trailer for the unveiling of the Switch 2 potentially hinted at details about the device and its capabilities, with fans speculating it might have showcased a sneak peek of the upcoming Mario Kart game as well.
