I’m so excited! This movie is finally coming to the UK digitally on September 29th, 2025, thanks to Miracle Media, and then we’ll be able to own it on Blu-ray starting October 13th, 2025. I’ve been waiting for this!

The story follows Dr. Marks and journalist Parker as they investigate the origins of the 2016 ‘killer clown’ panic. Their investigation leads them to a dangerous serial killer named Cane, who is building a following from prison to incite an anarchist uprising. After Cane escapes, they must work against the clock to stop his violent Halloween plan.

The story begins on Halloween, twenty years after serial killer Carl Cane (played by Summers) terrorized the city. He’s been institutionalized since his crimes as a troubled child, but his signature clown makeup has unexpectedly become a viral trend, frightening people everywhere. Meanwhile, his doctor, Ellen Marks (Sothcott), is struggling to protect her own children, Leah (Wilde) and Alice (Marszal).

John Parks revisits the ongoing story. But on the anniversary of a significant event, a larger, more dangerous plan emerges. Ellen is now forced to protect her family from Carl, who is once again trying to harm them, this time with the help of his devoted followers who join in the pursuit.

The film centers around the anniversary of serial killer Carl Cane’s crimes. This year, though, Cane has gained followers eager to assist him, and his doctor finds herself fighting to protect her family, who have become the targets of his renewed attacks.

Best Parts

The backstory of the serial killer is incredibly well-crafted, cleverly incorporating the unsettling history of clowns. The killer is portrayed as truly ruthless and mentally disturbed, and Ronan Summers delivers a fantastic, disturbing performance that makes you want to see more of his work. The story itself is straightforward – a desperate fight for survival – which makes it easy to follow.

Worst Parts

The fight scenes aren’t very engaging because the camera work is overly flashy and distracting, even apart from any violence.

Final Thoughts –Helloween brings a fresh, complex and psychotic killer to life.
