Heinz reinvents the fry box with built-in dip compartment for ketchup or mayo

Heinz has created a surprisingly simple and clever new way to enjoy fries – it’s a design that seems obvious in hindsight!

French fries have been a popular fast food for a long time, but figuring out what sauces to serve with them has always been a challenge.

Some people like to simply add ketchup or mayonnaise directly to the fries inside the container, but this can often leave your fingers sticky and messy.

Some people prefer to briefly submerge the fries, but this can be tricky. It’s hard to manage the box, the dip, and the fries all at once without an extra set of hands or a stable surface.

Now, Heinz has solved that problem once and for all with the invention of the Heinz Dipper.

Heinz Dipper completely changes how people eat fries

This device is basically a container for french fries that also has a space to hold dipping sauces like ketchup or mayonnaise, making it convenient to enjoy both together.

Currently, you can find the product at various stadiums and a few restaurants in 11 different countries. These locations include places like Fat Sal’s Deli, Texas Tech University, and Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.

Heinz noticed people often eat fries outside of the home, like at fast food restaurants or sporting events. They also realized some people avoid ordering fries simply because they don’t like the dipping experience when they’re on the go. This led them to create the Heinz Dipper – a solution to make dipping fries easier and more enjoyable wherever you are.

Noticing that fry boxes and our signature Heinz Keystone logo share a striking similarity around the world, we decided to improve the classic fry box design to better showcase our brand and enhance the experience for Heinz fans everywhere, according to Nina Patel, Vice President of the Global Heinz Brand.

The company intends to expand the product’s availability to additional countries, such as China and Italy, in the future.
