Everyone’s been buzzing about Heated Rivalry – your friends, your roommate, even Jordan Firstman – so it wasn’t a shock when Crave announced a second season on December 12th. That means the hockey-playing characters we’ve come to love are returning! Expect to see Hollander and Rozanov back in action. Justin Stockman, VP of Content at Bell Media, praised the show for its strong characters, dramatic storylines, and immersive world, though he didn’t mention the appealing visuals or romantic scenes. Luckily, stars Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie shared their excitement with a fun unboxing video on HBO Max’s Twitter.
Just in time for the holidays, the pair opened a festive package containing a puck announcing “Season Two.” The presentation was simple and charmingly low-budget, focusing on the stars’ genuine excitement rather than flashy trailers or graphics. Storrie’s delighted expression was especially noticeable – a rare sight considering Rozanov rarely shows much emotion! The new season will be based on Rachel Reid’s sequel, The Long Game. Williams jokingly warned it would be “hotter, wetter, longer,” leading fans to wonder if he’s involved in the writing process – because those are some great ideas!
