As a gamer with a vast collection of Disney movies and a deep appreciation for iconic characters like Santa Claus, hearing about the alleged behavior of Tim Allen during the filming of “The Santa Clauses” has left me utterly disheartened.

1994’s beloved Christmas film “The Santa Clause” was revived in 2022, transforming into a TV series on Disney+ that continues the original storyline. Tim Allen reprised his iconic role as the lead actor in this new production.

According to Casey Wilson, who appeared as a guest in The Santa Clauses and now shares her experiences on her podcast, working with Allen was reportedly tense. She admitted that everyone seemed to tread carefully around him. Wilson recounted an awkward encounter she had with Allen, after which he apparently avoided looking at or speaking to her ever since.

Tim Allen was extremely difficult to work with. That encounter was undoubtedly the most challenging I’ve ever faced when collaborating with a colleague.

In this scenario, I find myself in a setting, only Tim Allen and I are present. My role is to hurl objects at him, as I suspect him of being a burglar. He descends the chimney dressed as Santa Claus, causing me to believe there’s an uninvited guest, much like a home invasion scenario. As a result, I’m flinging items at him. Later, I overhear Tim talking to the producer who is just a few feet away from me, saying something along the lines of, “You need to tell her to stop interrupting my lines.” The producer, with a look of shock on his face, has to take a step towards me and explains, “Um, Tim would prefer if you could stop stepping on his lines.

After completing his task, he displayed an uncommonly impolite demeanor. He avoided eye contact, did not speak a word, making the situation awkward and tense.

It also seemed that others found it serious, as Wilson admitted that someone on set informed her that she needed to handle Allen on one of his better days.

The scene comes to an end, and Tim Allen exclaims, “I’m off!”, then gathers his Santa cloak, carelessly tossing it onto the ground before exiting. In his place, a kinder replacement actor enters. As crew members rush to pick up the velvet Santa coat, someone remarks, “He’s having a good day,” passing by me nonchalantly. This quote is from an unidentified source, likely part of the production team.

It’s not uncommon for people to have unpleasant experiences while working with Tim Allen, as Casey Wilson isn’t the only one. Previously, Pamela Anderson, a co-star from Home Improvement, shared similar sentiments. In her biography, she recalled an incident where Allen allegedly exposed himself to her. However, Allen has denied these accusations (as reported by Variety).
