Hawkeye Actor Returns in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, Reveals Injury

An actor from the Hawkeye series is returning for Season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again. Tony Dalton, who plays Jack Duquesne (also known as Swordsman), shared that filming the Disney+ show was very physically challenging and even resulted in some injuries during the demanding action sequences.

Tony Dalton will be back as Jack Duquesne in the second season of Daredevil: Born Again. He recently shared that filming was physically demanding and that he was injured on set.

In an interview with ComicBookMovie.com, Charlie Cox shared that he suffered some significant injuries while filming the upcoming Daredevil series. He said he did a lot of physically demanding stunts and ended up bedridden for two to three weeks with bruises and a possible chipped rib.

Dalton shared that the upcoming season of Daredevil: Born Again will feature incredibly intense and realistic stunt work. He described the action sequences as being very up-close and personal, putting the viewer right in the middle of the fight. He’s confident it will be a lot of fun to watch.

In the first season of Daredevil: Born Again, Jack Duquesne, played by Dalton, reappeared as a vigilante in New York City, but was eventually imprisoned by Mayor Wilson Fisk in a secret underground facility. Recent hints suggest Duquesne could either break out or be released in the upcoming second season. There’s also a possibility he might join forces with Matt Murdock and his fellow vigilantes to fight against Fisk’s group.

The upcoming Season 2 has wrapped filming and will premiere on Disney+ on March 4, 2026.
