‘Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking’ Renewed for Season 2 at Food Network

Food Network has cast a renewal spell over “Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking.”

This competition show, starring James and Oliver Phelps who portrayed Fred and George Weasley, focuses on teams of skilled bakers and pastry artists. They craft dishes inspired by the magical world, touring real film sets such as Hogwarts School’s Great Hall, Platform 9 3/4, Gringotts Bank, and the Burrow.

Actors who played characters in the “Harry Potter” movie franchise also made special appearances, such as Warwick Davis portraying Professor Flitwick, Evanna Lynch as Luna Lovegood, and Bonnie Wright as Ginny Weasley. Carla Hall and Jozef Youssef took on roles as culinary judges in this setting.

Working together with Warner Horizon and teams from all over Warner Bros. Discovery, “Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking” leveraged the enthusiasm for “Harry Potter” and the appeal of Food Network as a holiday destination.
