Harlan Coben’s New Netflix Limited Series Run Away Unveils First Look

We’re getting a sneak peek at the upcoming Harlan Coben thriller, *Run Away*, with newly released photos from filming. The series is scheduled to launch on the streaming service early next year.

The upcoming series *Run Away* features James Nesbitt, Ruth Jones, Minnie Driver, and Alfred Enoch. The eight-episode show centers around a father’s search for his missing daughter and will premiere on January 1, 2026. Recent photos hint at a suspenseful and dangerous storyline, including a dramatic image of characters Dee Dee (played by Maeve Courtier-Lilley) and Ash (Join Pointing) covered in blood and holding a gun.

The series, *Run Away*, centers on Simon Nesbitt, a man whose seemingly ideal life is shattered when his daughter, Paige, runs away. He finds her struggling with drug use, but their reunion takes a violent turn when he discovers she’s involved with others. Just when he locates her, Simon loses track of Paige again, leading him on a desperate and dangerous journey into a criminal underworld to find her.

The cast also includes Lucian Msamati, Tracy-Ann Oberman, Annette Badland, Ellie de Lange, Adrian Greensmith, Ellie Henry, Ingrid Oliver, Finty Williams, Joe McGann, and Amy Gledhill. Harlan Coben is an executive producer, with Danny Brocklehurst (known for *Shameless*) as the writer and Nimer Rashed and Isher Sahota directing the series.

“Run Away” is the newest Harlan Coben thriller coming to Netflix, following the success of shows like “Missing You,” which quickly became a top-ten English-language hit with over 94 million views since its January 2024 release. Other popular Coben adaptations on Netflix include “Fool Me Once,” “Gone for Good,” “The Stranger,” and “Stay Close.” Netflix has already greenlit several more Coben projects, including “Caught,” “Just One Look,” and “I Will Find You,” to follow “Run Away.”
