Halsey’s Working to Bring Her Bloodlust to Prime Video

As a long-time follower and admirer of Halsey’s musical journey, I find myself intrigued by this new chapter in her creative pursuit. Having dabbled in acting with roles in films like ‘MaXXXine,’ it’s not surprising to see her venturing into the realm of TV production. It seems she’s surrounded herself with a talented team, including Ti West, Mark Friedman, and Anthony Li, which bodes well for the success of ‘Bloodlust.’

Halsey has managed to avoid another critical review from Pitchfork, at least for this upcoming project. This is because the musician is venturing into a new medium: television. According to Variety, they are currently working on a dark comedy series titled Bloodlust, which will be available on Amazon Prime Video. Although Halsey won’t be part of the cast, they have plenty on their plate as creator, writer, and executive producer of the show. Ti West is rumored to direct and produce, making this a reunion with West following Halsey’s role in his horror film MaXXXine. Severance executive producer Mark Friedman will also serve as showrunner and co-produce with Halsey’s manager, Anthony Li.

Halsey expressed great enthusiasm about starting this venture alongside some outstanding individuals, hinting at further information to come. At the moment, we’re on tenterhooks for details about the storyline, actors, and air date. As events unfold, it remains to be seen if Halsey will perceive any television critics as overly critical.
