Next year marks the 25th anniversary of the Halo video game series, and to celebrate, the original Halo Fest is returning! The event will be a convention and concert held in Seattle next December, and tickets will be available for purchase in the near future.
I was so excited to hear Halo Studios announce Halo Fest at the Halo World Championship! They’re saying it’s going to be huge – big enough for twice as many people as the usual HWC crowd. It’s cool because Halo Fest has happened a few times before. I remember the first one back in 2010 – GameStop put it on to celebrate the launch of Halo Reach. Then there was another one at PAX Prime in 2011, and a standalone event in 2014. Hopefully, this one will be even better!
Halo Fest 2026 is planned to be much bigger than before! The event will last three days, starting with an official Halo concert at Benaroya Hall. The next two days will be a convention held at the Seattle Convention Center’s Summit Building, and it will include popular features from the Halo World Championship, like a community stage, appearances by voice actors, a cosplay contest, and various meetups.

Tickets for both events become available on December 10, 2025. Halo Studios anticipates the concert will sell out quickly because the venue is smaller. Details about the events and ticket options will be released before the sale date, giving Halo fans time to prepare.
Big news for Halo fans! After much anticipation, Xbox has confirmed that Halo games will be available on the PlayStation 5, starting with a remake of Halo: Combat Evolved in 2026. This marks the first time in years that Halo will be playable on a PlayStation console, opening up the franchise to a wider audience.
