Halfway Through The Voice Season 28, Fans Think They Already Know Who Will Win (And I Agree)

Be warned, this story reveals details from the Knockout rounds of The Voice on November 3rd. If you missed the Season 28 episodes, you can watch them on Peacock.

Although this week’s episode of The Voice only featured one hour of Knockout rounds, it was packed with strong performances. Three impressive duels aired on November 3rd, and viewers are already predicting the winner of Season 28, even though the competition is only halfway through.

This season’s singers are incredibly talented, so winning won’t be easy for anyone. However, it seems likely that Niall Horan could win again, potentially earning his third victory on The Voice with Aiden Ross.

Aiden Ross has consistently impressed on the show, starting with a four-chair turn during his Blind Audition – he performed Adele’s “Love in the Dark.” His Battle round with teammate Ava Nat was so good, it led many viewers to seek out more of their harmonies online. He continued to shine with his Knockout performance, a cover of Billie Eilish’s “When the Party’s Over,” which isn’t an easy song to tackle. In fact, his performances have been so strong that some fans on X (formerly Twitter) believe he’s already won the competition, as one user, infinityxlover, noted.

That performance was incredible! I truly believe Aiden could win this competition – the control and emotion they displayed were amazing!

Others echoed that sentiment, writing:

  • Good grief, Aiden. I just sat here like rock listening to you. I may not have breathed. That was a glorious performance. You couldn’t have done better 👍– usedscates
  • I’ve watched Aiden Ross’ audition & battle performances wayyy too many times. He needs to release more of his own music. I genuinely think he’s winning it all. – xwanjau
  • Aiden WOW! – super_star_96
  • Aiden just doesn’t miss man. – briizyf_

See what all the fuss was about below:

As the video shows, the coaches on The Voice were clearly amazed by Aiden Ross’s singing. Snoop Dogg, who often gets emotional about the contestants, was particularly impressed and told the artist:

Aiden Ross, your singing was incredible – I was completely mesmerized! I was frozen, lost in the moment. Honestly, you performed that song so well, I really think you have a chance of winning The Voice. That’s not an exaggeration, I’m being completely honest.

Okay, let me tell you, watching Michael Bublé during that final round was something else. You could practically see his competitive spirit boiling over as he realized a third win might not be happening. He was clearly frustrated, and he let Aiden Ross and Liam von Elbe know it, giving them both a piece of his mind.

I was completely engrossed! I usually take notes, but I couldn’t find my pen. Your performance was so amazing, I actually threw my pen at Niall – it was a frustrated reaction, and honestly, a little bit of envy!

It’s been hard to pick a favorite singer this season, but Aiden Ross has consistently been a top contender. Fourteen-year-old Max Chambers also impressed me with his performance of “Don’t You Worry ‘bout a Thing,” and he definitely seemed like a potential winner.

This season has been incredible so far, and we’re still only at the midpoint! I’m really excited to see how the rest of the Knockouts unfold, and how competitive the Playoffs will be. Watch it Mondays at 9 p.m. Eastern on NBC, or stream it the next day on Peacock.
