In Grow A Garden, plants are categorized into different types. While blueberries are berries and bamboo is woody, some plants are classified as ‘prickly.’ This can be a problem because certain limited-time rewards require turning in specific plant types.

It’s important to remember that some fruits in this game actually belong to multiple categories. For instance, the Rose is considered a prickly fruit, but it’s also a flower and a leafy plant. Growing these multi-type crops will be helpful when we release updates for Grow A Garden, especially when fulfilling requests. To help you plan, here’s a list of all the prickly plants currently available as seeds for your garden.

Grow A Garden Prickly Fruits List

The game currently features 25 different types of prickly fruits to collect as part of the Grow A Garden feature. However, it’s difficult to find them all right now. Many were only available for a limited time through special event seed packs. While a few have reappeared in the Daily Deals shop, most are still unavailable.

As our beginner’s guide explains, you can find useful plants at most seed shops, and a couple of spiky ones can be especially profitable early in the game. We suggest growing crops with a high base price. This lets you test how they react to different weather conditions in Grow A Garden, which can lead to valuable mutations and bigger profits when you sell your harvest.
